Dance Program at Louisiana Leadership Institute
Meeting Time: Sundays @ 4:00PM – 6:00PM

Find Your Rhythm. Express Your Passion. Dance With Confidence.

Welcome to the Dance Program at the Louisiana Leadership Institute! Our program provides young people with an exciting opportunity to explore the art of dance, develop their movement skills, express their creativity, and build confidence in a supportive and energetic environment.

Through dance instruction, movement exercises, choreography, and group activities, students learn how to use movement to express themselves, tell stories, and connect with others. Whether they are beginners or have previous dance experience, participants have the opportunity to grow as dancers while developing discipline, teamwork, and a strong appreciation for the performing arts.

What Is the Dance Program?

Dance is more than movement — it is a powerful form of artistic expression that combines music, rhythm, creativity, and physical activity. The Dance Program at the Louisiana Leadership Institute introduces students to dance as a way to build confidence, develop coordination, and explore different styles of movement.

Students are encouraged to discover their individual talents, learn new techniques, and work together to create exciting dance routines. The program provides an opportunity to develop performance skills, express emotions through movement, and appreciate the role dance plays in culture, entertainment, and the arts.
