Community Engagement
This purpose of this page is to spotlight some of the institutes top community projects as part of the mission & vision for our students is to read leaders that take pride in giving back to the community- each year our senior class develops service project initiatives they are carried out by the organization as a whole
Due to how negatively affected graduating seniors were by the International Pandemic: COVID – 19, the Louisiana Leadership Institute decided to safely celebrate the students by putting on a Yard-Sign Blitz and a Community Graduation. More details on these events are detailed below.
Yard Sign Blitz:
This event was spear-headed by the high-school seniors at the Institute and acted as their senior project. They organized and executed the sign-up and delivery of about 1000 Congratulations Seniors! yard signs to seniors all over East Baton Rouge Parish.

Community Graduation:
Due to the cancelation of in-person graduations as a result of COVID-19, The Louisiana Leadership Institute organized and executed a community graduation involving all schools in the East Baton Rouge Parish. This event consisted of an outside ceremony on the LLI Campus. Two representatives from each school in the parish were invited to participate in addition to the seniors who were previously active at the Louisiana Leadership Institute. Some highlights from the event are that all participants received a $1000 technology scholarship, and the commencement speaker was LSU’s Football Coach Ed Orgeron.
